I took the Yonge bus home today. I got out early from a test, so, naturally, I headed to Yonge and Adelaide and waited for more than half an hour for the Yonge bus to come by. The driver of that bus has got to be the friendliest on the TTC has. And he's not the same one all the time either. Maybe they have a hierarchy system, where you eventually get the Yonge route when you're the nicest driver in the whole TTC. That, and you get an honourary token holder for your years of service.

Anyways, it was really good to see Yonge street again. I don't see stuff as much anymore. Maybe, if I'm lucky, I get to see Markham on the weekends, but I certainly don't see Yonge street, or any of the great stuff in Toronto. It actually made me want it to be summer. I know when it's summer, I'll want winter, but at least in summer there's places to go and so many more people outside. I can't wait until summer, just for the driving. Yonge street after 11:30 on the weekends, after a really scorchingly hot day, is perfect. Nighttime is the best, where you can drive with the windows down, and the heat is coming off the pavement, and having a drink and good music. Those are the times where you don't mind waiting in line for a club, or going out for groceries in the middle of the night, or spending the extra money on one more bubble tea because it'll keep you cool for a few more minutes. Man. Summer. But then there's the sweatiness, and the dark tanning, and the hallways in my building, and the subway (gross, simply gross) and the overall grossness of everything between 7am and 9pm that makes summer my least favourite season. PLUS, you can't wear sweaters.

I put the naughty on 2 midterms today. Seriously, the naughty is on them, because there isn't a chance of getting anything less than the best on those tests (I know, I know...I'm should be a rapper. Maybe I'll do that on the weekends when I'm a financial planner...) As long as the one tomorrow morning goes okay, and the one on Thursday is alright, then I should be good to go for reading week next week. If you wanna have lunch, gimme a ring-a-ding-ding on my celly.
