Wouldn't it be great if real life were like Smallville? I watched an episode today while I was eating dinner. It was the one where there's a girl who wants to lose weight, so she makes these vegetable shakes out of kryptonite enriched vegetables. Then she goes crazy on this deer that she hits, because she's so hungry. Then she tries to eat Pete, but Clark saves the day. The subplot has Lana's 16th birthday happening, and Clark agreeing to fill in for Whitney, who is in Metropolis at a game that's being scouted. Clark misses her party, of course, but then makes it up by playing Bugs Bunny cartoons for Lana, while they sit in his pick-up truck. (Gives new meaning to "pick-up" truck, eh?)

If life were like that, that would be amazing. Everytime you like a girl you just have to sit down with her for 2 minutes and she'll give you a great way to make her like you. That would certainly be helpful. And, as rumour has it, even if you're the ethnic sidekick of a superhero-to-be, you can still get the girl you like, because she'll eventually get some mind-controlling powers which will make you tell her that you like her. Imagine that! She MAKES you tell her you like her, so then there's no awkwardness of trying to tell her how you feel, and she eventually falls for you.

Man, if life were like Smallville, I'd be the champion of the world, because I watch it entirely too much.
