Today had started out as a bad day. I rarely have bad days, but today was certainly heading towards disaster when I woke up at 8:30. I have to be at work at 9. I can count on one hand, the number of times I've slept through my alarm. Anyways, I got on the subway at 9, after having realized that I couldn't find my umbrella either. I didn't have time to shower, and my hair looked really weird. I need a haircut too. But anyways, I got to work thinking that I was going to get a subtle "Hmm...you're late" from my bosses. But, as it turned out, they were really happy to see me. I was even invited for lunch with one of them, mostly because he wanted to tell me that they had talked about me working at RBC 2 days a week, and they had decided that they wanted me to work for them more than the 3 days that I'm doing now. The conversation ended up with him saying "I'm sure we'll work something out". I have absotively posolutely no idea what that means. Does that mean they're gonna try to contractually hold me to my position with them? Or are they going to make me work longer hours? I was kinda laughing in my head, because there's absolutely nothing keeping me working for them other than the fact that I actually learn alot by being there. In any case, in the near future I may have to flex a little if they try to pressure me into changing my work schedule. And that would be sweaty.
It's also good to see that Yahoo! has responded to Gmail's presence in the e-mail kingdom by giving me a 100MB account. It's only 1/10th of my gmail account, but still, it's better than the 6MB I had before. Which reminds me, I have 2 additional invitations for people to get a gmail account, so if you want one, contact me somehow. You can get me at work now if you want. But you'll have to call me on my cell to get that number out of me, cause I don't wanna post my phone number on here for all the internet weirdos to see.
