Some of you may have caught me on an especially good day, when my sense of humour was peaking and I was simply on a roll with inane conversation. I get alot of those with Glendo, but recently I've been doing it more and more. Usually I just make up stories about theoretical things that will never happen. But today, I was reading an article on Yahoo! news about how air marshalls are too easy to pick out from normal people on an airplane. This is what an air marshall thinks could happen because they're easy to pick out:
"This is what I foresee," said one marshal, a two-year veteran. "Two of us get on the plane and we've been under surveillance the whole time. There's a minimum of four bad guys…. My partner goes to the bathroom and they come after me with a sharp pen, stab me in the neck or in the brain and take my weapon," he continued. "When my partner comes out, they shoot him. Then they've got 80 rounds of ammunition and two weapons."
This guy is worried about being stabbed in the BRAIN. I'm worried about forgetting to wear a belt to work (like I did last week because I was so tired). That's a pretty crazy workplace environment. I wouldn't want to have that kind of pressure on me, since I think up all sorts of possible situations for everyday life.
Anyhoo, that's it. I finished reading the Prisoner of Azkaban for the second time today. I didn't read it properly the first time, so it was like reading a new book. It was really good. The best part was Dobby not being in it. I think the movie will be much better without him in it.
