You know, over several years I've amassed a number of top-notch CD's. Lately, Weezer's Pinkerton has been the CD in my player, and it's just been repeating and repeating. You should give it a listen if you haven't already.
Anyways, I took out the daughters of my aunt and uncle's family friends on Friday. I figured I'd be cool and take them to LaRouge, since it was a happening spot the last time I went there a month or so ago. When we got there, there were about 4 people in the club. Great. So we went to Distrikt, where the club was full of 18 and 19-year old chinese kids. Great. So we went to Marches. And everything was A-okay. Good old Marches, pulls out another win.
On Saturday, I went golfing with my dad. He has an INSANE obsession with finding golf balls/not losing golf balls. I swear, as soon as he hits his tee shot, he's on the prowl for golf balls. It's not that he needs them, because he usually finds a few everytime he plays. But seriously, he spends more time looking for golf balls than he does concentrating on his game. You know how senior citizens do weird things that a childish? This is gonna be his thing. Anyways, I golfed decently, hitting some pure golf wedge shots from inside 80 feet. I'm beginning to love my wedge play, which bails me out of lots of sub-standard iron shots. I even blasted on drive 210 yards. My longest in competition. And it split the fairway, coming up about 20 feet short of the hole. I parred it.
Matt's birthday party was that evening. I love looking svelt, and what with my hair being a perfect length right now and everything, I was looking quite dashing. Moog wore a tie just for fun. I don't think I'd ever wear a tie just for fun. Anyways, here are some good moments from that:
That's Alan hitting on a friend of someone at Matt's thing. Pure playerliciousness.
That's a pic of half of the people there. In the end, many many people showed up.
So not a bad weekend. Next weekend will be better though, with my fingers crossed that I get Friday off. Here's to a 4 day weekend.
