"I'm just a b-boy, and it brings me joy..."
Seriously, that's the best song around right now, K-os's "B-Boy Stance".
Anyways, the long weekend is half over and I've already had an entire weekend's worth of fun:
1. Watched Dodgeball. It's one of the best written movies in a couple of years (besides Old School, which was a gem). I have to start using "La-loser" as a phrase more often.
2. Broke 100 in my round of golf yesterday. I don't know how I did it, but that's what hte scorecard says. I must say, my putting was pretty good. And I hit an 8-iron tee shot into 5 feet (I subsequently bogeyed the hole, but that's besides the point). And I smacked on serious tee shot, but other than that, i was mediocre. Oh well, 98 is the new all time record.
3. Ate at Lam Yun for the first time in probably a year. It was really good. 10 of us at the table.
4. Played video games until 3 in the morning, trying to break the single round record of 47 in Tiger Woods 2004. I only tied it, but I know I can get a 46. It'll happen.
5. Went to Matt's place for lunch. Interesting. That sums it up. People there are really microcosmic. They act differently than other people do in other workplaces. I guess each workplace is like that, but they're quite abnormal there. So cliquey and discriminatory. Anyways, I had a good time, and a good meal of leathery beef fajitas.
6. Went to Rose Water Supper Club for a Summerlicious dinner. It's a REALLY nice place, but the portions are super small. Anyways, I had a dinner of lamb that was really good, and a cold cucumber soup. It was super flavourful, but not enough to satiate my hunger. In any case, more interesting outcomes from the evening more than offset the food (for Cheif Scout). But we still went to Tim Horton's after and I got a chicken salad sandwich. Good times.
7. Went to a house party with Matt and his co-workers. I had the laugh of a lifetime at this thick-legged girl who Jenny thought was super funny. The fact that she was wearing hotpants didn't help us making fun of her. Seriously, her legs were so huge, she must be injecting creatine into her thighs.
8. Now I get to read untiL i want to, not having to worry about waking up in time for work or anything for that matter.
